Evidence of My Progress

1.  Classroom Google Calendar

The classroom calendar that I made and put on my teacher website's sole purpose is to communicate relevant ideas to parents, and keep them in the loop about things going on in our classroom.  This is an effective way of sharing information between the teacher, students, and parents because google calendar ca be pulled up anywhere Google can be pulled up, and it could not be simpler to use. 

2. Classroom Newsletter

The newsletter that I created that can be used in the future for my classes was created using S'more.  it combines many aspects of digital age media in order to effectively communicate ideas and information to parents, and students. This helps support student success because it keeps both parents and students up to date and aware of the happenings in the classroom. It is a team effort, and this resources strengthens the team of students, parents, and teachers.

3. Class Dojo

Not only is this a useful resource for a teacher in the classroom to track attendance, participation, and positive and negative behaviors of the class, and each student as an Individual. It allows all of this information to be shared with parents every week so they can see a detailed report of what their child is doing well and maybe not as well in the classroom. I think this is a useful tool, because it can be used to show progress and growth, as well as areas that need improvement.  It is a very unique format that ties in parents, students and teachers, as well as gather and use information about your students in the classroom to try and help each child be as successful as they possible can be.
